French Revolution


The French Revolution was a period of turmoil, reform, war, and enlightenment.  From the meeting of the Estates-General in 1789 to the emergence of Napoleon in 1799, the changes taking place in France were watched closely by the rest of the world.  In many ways, the French Revolution brought more enlightenment changes than the American Revolution.
